Whereabouts
In this image, I am trying to convey what’s most important in my life. For example, the image of my horse, Maggie, shows how important animals are in my life and that horse-back riding is my main sport. The image of my best friend Maggie shows that my friends and family are also crucial to my life. Finally, the image of the sunset shows the importance of nature and the earth in my life, especially water, as I would like to rescue marine animals as an adult. To create this image, I faded the three layered images and kept the original transparency of my selfie. I chose the title “Whereabouts” to show that this is where I am in life, this is what matters to me.

The people
This double exposure is much better than my first one on the left. On the left, there is no blending and really rough cuts. Only a couple of them are slightly opaque, and they overlap in a really weird way. While I don't enjoy how much the double exposure is zoomed in, I like it much better with the one opaque background within me. I think the black and white for myself quite a bit too, I think it helps focus the attention onto the background within from when I saw President Barack Obama. I also feel as though the photo on the right is much more representative of myself as a person than the collection of things I like.
